We have etched out a specialist niche in a competitive market and have become one of the largest importers of gourmet foods in Queensland. That said, most of our business is now done with local manufacturers and we have a very healthy representation of locally produced product including a selection from our own manufacturing facility.
Galaxy's expertise in speciality foods and dedication to quality has enabled us to become an important and preferred supplier to all the major chain supermarkets and most independents.
With the introduction of food safety initiatives by all supermarket chains and the majority of large foodservice customers Galaxy Foods is proud of its status as one of the earliest wholesalers to have achieved full HACCP accreditation.
